' The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order at 7:30 am by Mayor Touhey in the
City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Touhey, Mayor Pro Tern McFadden, Councilmembers Herfert (arrived .
at 8:45 am), Manners, Wong
Others Present: Starbrid, Dixon, Hampel, Ure
PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Touhey commenced the closed session at 7:30 pm for the following
purposes:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION
Pursuant to Gov. Code Section 54956.9(a):
* City of West Covina vs BKK Corp.
Councilmember Herfert arrived at 8:45 am.
CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR: Diane Ure
Pursuant to Gov. Code Section 54957.6 re:
* General Employees Association
* Fire Fighters Association
* Police Management Association
* Public Dispatchers Association
* Mid -Management Association
* Confidential/Exempt Association
The closed session concluded at 9:30 am.
ADJOURNMENT Motion by Manners and seconded by Herfert to adjourn the meeting at 9:30
am. Motion carried 5-0.
