November 21, 1995
The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order
by Mayor Herfert at 5:45 pm in the City, Manager's Conference Room at
City Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Herfert, Mayor Pro Tem Touhey, Council -
members Manners, Wong. Councilmember McFadden
(arrived at 6:00 pm).
Others Present: Starbird, Wylie, Ure, Hoppe, McClatchie
PUBLIC COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor Herfert commenced the closed session at
5:45 pm to discuss the following matters:
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITI-
GATION, pursuant to Gov. Code § 54956.9(a):
* Meta Frazer vs City of West Covina
* City of West Covina vs BKK Corp. (MOU)
* Orlando Zorrilla vs City of West Covina
Councilmember McFadden arrived at 6:00 pm.
CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR, pursuant to
Gov. Code § 54957.6:
Agency Negotiator: Diane Ure
Employee Organizations:
West Covina Fire Fighters Association
West Covina Police Management Assn.
West Covina Public Dispatchers Assn.
The closed session concluded at 7:30 pm.
ADJOURNMENT Motion by Herfert and seconded by Touhey to
adjourn the meeting at '7:30. pm. Motion
carried 5-0.
