WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
June 1, 1995
The'special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order
by Mayor Herfert at 5:50 pm in the Management Resource Center at City
Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

FY 95/96 BUDGET STUDY SESSION
City Manager Starbird introduced the third
budget study session, stating that the purpose
of the meeting was to gain Council direction on
several budgetary issues. The twenty-one issues
for discussion were detailed in the document
entitled "Budget Decision Points." Council con-
sidered the following fifteen items and those to
be brought back for further discussion are

Council had indicated earlier in the evening
that 8:00 pm was the targeted adjournment time
and Mayor Herfert asked the City Manager to wrap
it up for the evening. City Manager Starbird
noted that the eight items to be brought back
for further discussion encompassed $700,000 of
the preliminary budget. And there are still six
more items for consideration by Council.
Council concurred on meeting at 6:00 pm on
Wednesday, June 7th in the Management Resource
Center to continue the discussions.
Motion by Herfert and seconded by McFadden to
adjourn the meeting at 8:12 pm. Motion carried
4-0.
