The special meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order
by Mayor McFadden at 6:40 pm in the City Manager's Conference Room at City
Hall, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina.

Manners, Touhey, Wong
Others Present: Starbird, Wylie, Miller, Dixon, Melzer, Lennard,
Montivideo
PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS ON THE AGENDA No comments offered.
CLOSED SESSION Mayor McFadden recessed the City Council meeting at
6:40 pm to convene a closed session on the following
two items:

pursuant to Gov. Code 5 54956.9(a): City of West
Covina vs BKK Corporation
CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGA-
TION pursuant to Gov. Code S 54956.9(c): one case.
The City Council explored the possibility of liti-
gation over BKK's Financial Assurances.
The closed session concluded at 8:37 pm.
Motion by McFadden and seconded by Herfert to adjourn
the meeting at 8:37 pm. Motion carried 5-0.
