The adjourned regular meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order
by Mayor Manners at 5:35 pm in the Management Resource Center at City Hall, 1444
isW. Garvey Avenue, West Covina, CA. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Manners.

CONTINUATION OF DEPARTMENTAL PRESENTATIONS OF WORK PROGRAMS
The City Council received presentations from the following
departments regarding work programs and service levels of
FY 91/92.
PLANNING DEPARTMENT - presented by Planning Director Haley.
PERSONNEL SERVICES - presented by Personnel Director Ure.
RISK MANAGEMENT - presented by Risk Manager Hoppe.
CITY CLERK'S OFFICE - presented by City Clerk Berry.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION - presented by Administrative Analyst II

Recess Mayor Manners called a recess at 8:05 pm. Council reconvened
at 8:17 pm. with all members present.
BUILDING AND SAFETY DEPARTMENT - presented by Building and
Safety Director Glover. Discussion:ensued regarding
signs and the enforcement thereof.
OFFICE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES - presented by City Engineer
Thomas in the absence of Community Services Division
Manager Miller.
ADJOURNMENT Motion by Jennings, seconded by Wong, and unanimously carried
to adjourn the meeting at 9:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Monday, May
18, 1992.forbudget review.
