• AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
October 10, 1991
The adjourned regular meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order
at 6:35 pm by Mayor Jennings in the Management Resource Center at City Hall, 1444
W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina. The Pledgec6f Allegiance was led by Councilmember
Manners.
ROLL CALL Mayor Jennings, Mayor Pro Tem Herfert, Councilmembers
Manners, McFadden, Tarozzi (arrive 6:45 pm)
Others Present: Starbird, Holler, Thomas, Orr, Panas, Koniarsky, Holmes, Uhr
• I SAN GABRIEL VALLEY TRANSPORTATION COALITION
Council reviewed the staff report.
Motion by Herfert, seconded by Manners to approve the City's participation
in the San Gabriel Valley Transportation Coalition and to appropriate $4,800
of Proposition A funds to support the City's involvement. Motion passed unani-
mously with Tarozzi absent.
Motion by Manners, seconded by McFadden to appoint Mayor Pro Tem Herfert
as the Council'.srrepresentative on the coalition. Motion passed unanimously
with Tarozzi absent.
Councilmember Tarozzi arrived at 6:45 pm.
II PREPARATION OF FINAL BUDGET FOR FY 1991/92
Council received a staff presentation on the impact of the State budget
on the City's budget. Council directed staff to proceed with the staff
recommendations for adjusting the budget and to bring back to Council a
final budget for adoption.

IV CLOSED SESSION
At 10:35 pm Mayor Jennings recessed the City Council meeting to convene
a closed session to discuss meet and confer, pursuant to Government Code
Section 54956.9(b).
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Herfert, seconded by Tarozzi, and unanimously carried to
adjourn the meeting at 11:05 pm to October 21, 1991 at 5:30 pm in
the Management Resource Center.
