ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL
April 3, 1991
The adjourned regular meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order
at 7:30 am at Baker's Square Restaurant, 645 North Azusa Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL Mayor Tarozzi, Councilmembers Herfert, Jennings, Manners
Absent: Mayor Pro Tem McFadden
Others Present: Interim City Manager Thomas, Supervisor Mike Antonovich,
Chief Deputy Sarah Flores, Assistant Jim Silver
MEETING WITH SUPERVISOR ANTONOVICH
Supervisor Mike Antonovich requested the meeting to discuss
items of mutual interests and concerns with the City
Council. Discussions centered around the following
topics:
a) Gang problems and graffiti
b) Waste disposal problems
c) Supporting the Foothill Transit Zone and
transportation in general
d) Air Quality Management District regulations that
may greatly impact local land use control
e) The City's,first contact with the Supervisor's
office would be through Sarah Flores, his chief
deputy whose office is located in Pomona.
ADJOURNMENT Motion by Herfert, seconded by Jennings, and unanimously
carried to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 am.
