03-13-1991 - Regular Meeting - MinutesM I N U T E S ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING • WEST COVINA CITY COUNCIL March 13, 1991 The adjourned regular meeting of the West Covina City Council was called to order at 7:30 pm by Mayor Tarozzi in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1444 W. Garvey Avenue, West Covina. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember Manners. ROLL CALL Mayor Tarozzi, Mayor Pro Tem McFadden, Councilmembers Herfert, Jennings, Manners Others Present: Thomas, Wylie, Yoshizaki, Holler, Holmes, Haley, Wolff, Koniarsky, Miller, Cleary, Blodgett, Mariscal, Manheim, Berry • Recess Mayor Tarozzi recessed the City Council meeting to conduct the Redevelopment Agency meeting at 7:30 pm. Council reconvened at 11:47 pm. FIVE YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN/BUDGET PARAMETERS STUDY SESSION Due to the late hour, Council concurred on discussing this at a later date. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS No comments offered. COUNCILCOMMENTS Councilmember Herfert noted that the military men and women who served during the Persian Gulf War were not coming straight home, but stopping first at their home military base. He suggested using the July 4th parade as an appropriate time to celebrate their homecoming. Mayor Tarozzi requested a resolution of commendation • be placed on the next agenda for Council approval for Basura's towing services provided in West Covina.
