The special meeting of
the West Covina City Council was called to order at 8:00 am
by Mayor Pro Tem Lewis'at
Baker's Square Restaurant, 645 N..-Azusa Avenue, West Covina.
ROLL CALL
'Mayor Pro Tem Lewis,.Councilmembers Manners, Tarozzi.
Absent:
Mayor Bacon, Councilmember McFadden .
Others Present:
Fast, Supervisor Pete, Schabarum, Burton, Hammond
MEETING WITH SUPERVISOR PETE SCHABARUM
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss matters of mutual
interest at the request of County Supervisor Pete Schabarum.
Items of discussion included the status of litigation over
the Foothill Transit Zone.; the proposed expansion of the
Dial -A -Ride service to include County territory; the future
of light -rail transit "in- the San Gabriel Valley; the
need for new landfills in the region, including the
pansion of Mission Canyon and Sunshine Canyon landfills.

carried to adjourn .the meeting at 9:05 am.
