CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA
February 13, 1959
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mottinger at 7:00 P. Me in
the West Covina City Hall.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Mottinger,
Councilmen Heath, Brown, Pittenger, Barnes
Others Present: Mr, George Aiassa, City Manager
Mr, Robert Flotten, City Clerk
CONSIDERATION OF CITY Councilman Brown: In that some of the
MANAGER'S SALARY major problems have been cleared up, I
APPROVED move that the City Manager's salary be
increased $75.00 per.month to a total
of $1,19.1.00 per month effective
February 1, 1.959, and that the City Attorney be directed to draw up the
proper resolution reflecting the Council°s action.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Barnes, There being no further
discussion, the motion carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION NO, 1518 The City Clerk presented:
Authorizing and requesting ""A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
County Engineer to perform THE CITY OF WEST COVINA., CALIFORNIA,
certain services AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE COUNTY
(Badillo Drain) ENGINEER TO PERFORM CERTAIN SERVICES
ADOPTED (BADILLO DRAIN)".
Mayor Mottinger:
Hearing no objections, we will. waive
further reading of the body of the
Resolution.
Motion by Councilman Brown, seconded by Councilman Pittenger that said
Resolution be adopted. Motion passed unanimously on roll call as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Heath, Brown, Pittenger, Barnes, Mayor Mottinger
Noes: None
Absent: None
Said Resolution was given No, 1518.

seconded by Councilman Brown, at 7:30 Po M., the meeting was adjourned,
