The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kay at 9:10 P.M. in the West Covina
City Hallo
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Kay, Councilmen Barnes, Mottinger, Pittenger
Absent: Councilman Brown
Others Present: Mr. R. Flotten, City Clerk; Mr. C. G. Petrie, City Manager;
Mr. M. C. Gerschler, Planning Department
Mr. Gerschler: I would like the record to show that the map and
legal description of proposed Southeasterly
Annexation No. 160 were filed with the Los Angeles
County Boundary Corrnission on the date of October
30, 1957 at approximately 4:30 P.M.
RESOLUTION NO. 1225 The City Clerk presented and read in full "A RESOLUTION
Fixing date of public OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA GIVING
hearing for hearing of NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY
protests on Southerly ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS
Annexation No 160 OF WEST COVINA TO BE KNOWN AS SOUTHEASTERLY ANNEXATION
(December 9, 1957) NO. 160 AND SETTING A DATE FOR THE HEARING OF L"ROTESTS.It
ADOPTED
Motion by Councilman Mottinger, seconded by Councilman Pittenger that Resolution
No. 1225 be adopted.
Motion passed on roll call as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Barnes, Mottinger, Pittenger, Mayor Kay
Noes: None
Absent: Councilman Brown
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:25 P.M.
