Meeting was called to order at 5:05 F.M. by Mayor Bresm
Present- Mayor Frown, Councilmen rrumley, Mottinger and Pittenger

Mayor Brown directed the City Clerk to proceed.
City Clerk announced that this Special Meeting .,rats called for the purpose
of considering the annexation of certain territory, Lying between .�anset d
Paente Avenues and Fa.irgro,v'e and Elliott Avenges., to the `it1- o:f West Covina.
and to pass a resolution to initiate proceedings on the City of ':Ost Covina
own motion to annex this uninhabited territory.
City i.Tl.erk presented for the record, proof of notification of this aieeti..ng
sent to the Mayor and all the Councilmen at least 24 hours before the time
set for this meetings and that the acknowledgement of this notice was received
at least 24 hours before this meeting from each Councilm.an. Councilraari R- ,7
telegraphed,, from Santa Barbara., consenting to this meeting in that he wt-)Ill.d
be unable to attend.
After discussion of the Annexation, the City Councils directed that a r.•e;s::�:i.uti.o:n
be passed initiating proceedings, on the CityFs onan motion to annex the territory
under discussion.

Motion by Councilman Crurr:I_.eys seconded by Councilman Pittenger, that Resolution
No. 1024 be adopted. Motion passed on roll_ call as follows,
