Councilman Kay spoke in reference to the ordinance passed this evening
regarding gas stations 'n (3-1 zoning.
"There is a definite type of gas station described in our, zoning ordinance as
tdn7Ail" in Ifferent. zones. ln:'Cr3 Zone the gas station is defined as a Super

selling of gOlsoline. I believe I-:c,at -Lon (J' :cap: take you to any gas sta-Lon in -1. and they
are doing, brake lining and other such jobs, which I think is justified. I
believe our ordinance might deserve some study as -to whether or not gas
stations in a nei-fiborhood zone should be chancy-ed to fit the exi-ting conditions
of the times, rather than try to enforce an ordinance T believe is impractical,
in these times.
