Meeting called to order at the City Hall by Mayor Hurst at 7:30 P.M.
Present: Councilmen Defy, Van Horn, Sper;Li.ne and Hurst.
Absent: Councilman Mossberg
Others: City Administr tor., Percy Jackson and R. E. Harding Fire Chief.
BIDS ON USED Councilman Van horn recommended that the bids covering a used
• TRACTOR tractor submitted by the Shepherd Tractor Co. and James S.
Walker which were opened at the last regular meeting be rejected
and that the City Clerk advertise for bids covering a renew tractor of the Cater-
pillar D4a Allis Chalmers HD5 or International TD9 Type. Motion by Councilmn. Van
Morn, seconded by Councilmen Sperline and carried unaxsimously.
ANNEXATION OF City Administrator announced no answer to date to leather written
Y.E. FLW to the Pacdfic Electric Railway Co. regarding possible annexa-
tion to West Covina of their right-of-W north of the City.
BUILDING CIDDE The committee appointed to study this problem =de several r ecom-
& FIRE ZONE mendations which were discussed at length with Fire Chief Hardin
STUDY and Chief Building Inspector Jackson. Further study was suggested
in order to clarify the suggested changes and information developed
during this meeting.
AERIAL STUDY Consideration was given to a new proposal submitted by Mr. Thompson
of the Fairchild Aerial Survey Co. covering a larger area than was
at first suggested. Mai. Thompson was not present at this: meeting but vill attend
the April 12th meeting in order to explain in detail the new proposal.
