City Administrator stated a procedure is being established to keep the Police and Fire Departments informed of all now street locations. Fire Corpnissioner DeLay also recommanded that necessary repairs to the Fire Station be made promptly. City Administrator vas requested to handle. Road Commissioner Mossberg recommended repairs be made to the Orange Avenue dip. City Administrator was requested to check with the County for recommen- dations on this matter. DRAINAGE PROBLI711 City Administrator outlined drainage problems consisting Leland Avenue of standing water on Leland Avenue and at Willow and Willow & Pacific ' Pacifico City Engineer recommended installation of Wind catch basins at a cost of 4220.00 each, It was decided to hold this over for further investigation. VWT COVINA Par. Lae Elliott,, manager of the new girls' softball te&% STARLETS the Vest Covina StarletsD expressed pleasure at the inter - eat and cooperation of the citizens and merchants of West Covina in the softball team., and requested the help of the Council in finding a place to play ball. Park and Recreation Commssioner Sparline announced that * meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission is to be held October 28 and s report will be submitted. VIOLATION OF VARIANCE City Administrator announced that a warning had Li19 Chick Malt Shop been issued to the Lill Chick Malt Shop on Oaigey Blvd, that their on -sale beer license was in violation of the variance cowering the property. Since over 30 days had elapsed and the situation was not corrected., City Attorney was requested to proceed to take action. . Meeting adjourned at 10e25 P.M.
