Absent: None Also Present: City Attorocy, City Engineer, City Clerk, City Coordinator and City Treasurer. • MINUTES Motion by Comioilvan Mossberg, seconded by Councilman APPROVED Flotten, and carried., that the minutes of the meeting of January 9, 1952, be approved as read, with the follow- ing amendments Add to the paragraph "Plan for bevelopment of Business Area" as follows: "according to the terms of his contisct". PETITION A petition carrying the names of 56 property owners was SUEMITTED read, requesting the Mayor and the City Council to devise ways and means to divert the run-off of water from adjacent hills where it crosses Merced Avenue at a point midway between Azusa and Lark Ellen, which during the recent hearty storms flooded all the property along Lark Ellen, Portner, Pima, Vine and vicinity. The Mayor announced this matter.would be taken under study. TENTATIVE TRACT After considerable discussion, the Council decided to N0. 17657 hold this map for further study. Brummett & Demblon, Inc. Ruggles conditions: APPROVED 1) Dedication of 100 along Merced Avenue to the City. 2) Improve Merced Avenue frontage, including installation of curb, gutter and pavement, from the east end of the property to Willow, with a curb rotura. at the intersection of Willow and pawing to meet the existing pavement. Noes: Councilman Flottan Absent: None PETITION A petition from 6 property owners on North Orange Avenue SUBMITTED was read, requesting the City Council to tatter necessary action to have curb and gutters iznstalled in front of their properties - approximately 270 feet on the east side of Orange and 325 feet on the crest side. Petition was referred to City Iingi.neer for appropriates sure and engineering and report back to the Council. RESIGNATION }Motion by Councilman Van Horn, seconded by Councilman H. B. WICKERSHAM Mossberg, and carried, that resignation of H. B. Wickersham • from they Planning Commission be accepted with regrets.
