The adjourned meeting of the City Council was held at 8:00 oaclock
P.M. on the above date. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor. Roll
Call: Present: Councilmen D®Lay, Flotten, Hurst and Mossberg. Absent:
Councilman Van Horn. Also present: City Clerk, Deputy_City Clerk, City Tgeasurei
City Engineer and City Attorney.
Moved by Councilman Flotten, seconded by Councilman Hurst and carried
that the reading of the minutes of the two previous meetings be waived and
that they be approved as suba,-Litted. ,
The City Cleat presented and read Resolution No. 288 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAEST COVIkA, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING AND AGREEING TO ABIDE BY THE CALIFORNIA CIVIL DEFENSE MASTER MUTUAL
AID AGREEMENT.
Councilman Mossberg moved the adoption of Resolution No. 288 as read.
Said motion was seconded by Councilman Hurst and carried on roll call as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen DeLay, Flotten, Hurst and Mossberg.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Van Horn.
The City Clerk presented and read Resolution No. 289 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA,
APPOINTING A CITY Ar'OENEY FOR SAID CITY AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION FOR
SERVICES UNDER SUCH APPOINTMENT.
The provisions of said resolution were then discussed. -
Councilman Flotten moved the adoption of Resolution No. 289 as read.
Said motion was seconded by Councilman Hurst and carried on roll call as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen DeLay, Flotten, Hurst and Mossberg.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Van Horn.
• The City Engineer is directed to prepare plans and specifications
for the improvement of the A. M. Daniels subdivision.
