Present: Mayor DeLay, Councilmen Flotten, Furst, Mossberg and
Van Morn,
Absent: None
Also Present: R. E. Graham, J. C, Nichols and Ca R. Zimmerman.
The Minutes of the meeting of April 12, 195-0, And April 18, 1950,
were read and annrove d.
• The contract between. the County of Los Angele c and the City of West
Covina extending the nrotec Lion contract Por another year was
read and the Mayor waz authorized to sign same
Resolution No. 215 - a rewlution of that City Council of the City
of West Covina, annointing Mayor DeLay to serve as a member of the
Board of Directors of the County Sanitation. District No, 15e
Resolution No. 21.6 - u resolution honoring ?ormer Mayor Bert C.
• Van Horn was nae=.sed' by unanieraous vote.
It was moved by Moseberg, seconded by Hurst and carried that
Councilman Flrtte^n continue too, reDresent the City of West Covina
on the Board of Directors of the League of Cal-Ifornt.a Cities.
Mayor DeLay arnointed Bert C, Van Horn to not as Police Commissioner.
• Mayor Delray annoint;ed 0. Mo ss'b,erg to act as Street Commissioner,
and--RvAofft and Moseberg on the Auditt.ng Committee,
Mayor DeLay appointed Be.n Her-,ner to continue to act as a member of
they Planning Commission, and. the appointment was unanimously approved
by the Council.
Tentative Man of Tract No. 16853 was accented subject to drainage
• easement between Lots 7 and 6. Said drainage culvert to be under
ground. Ownei° consented ito caid drainage easeriient;
Resolution No. 45 of the Planning Commission is <iTnnroved subject
to the conditions set tor'th therein, and Plablic Hearing on the
matter was set for May lo, 1950, at the hour of 9:00 P.M.
