Matter of Bids for construction of improvements on Assessment
District No, 1;
Resolution No. 213, awarding contract far .Assessment District No. 1.
Moved by Mossberg, seconded by Hurst to pass this resolution.
Ayes; VanMorn, DeLay, Flotten, Hurst and Mossb.erg.

Resolution No. 214, a resolution of the City Council of the City
of West Covina canvassing the Ballot. Moved to adopt Resolution
No. 214 by Councilman Flotten, seconded by Councilman Furst.

Moved by Hurst that Robert Flotten be appointed as temporary chair-
man , seconded by Mo s sberg and passed by unanimous vote.
Chairman Flotten asked for nominations. The following candidates
were nominated°

Joe Hurst
Frank DeLay
. Bert Van Horn withdrew his nomination.
Joe Hurst withdrew his nomination,
Frank DeLay was elected Mayor by unanimous vote,
Mayor Frank DeLay assumed the Kayorship.
