Present: Mayor 'fan Horn, Councilmen��-DeLay, Flotten, Furst and
Mossberg.
Absent: None.
Also Present: Mrs. Sayers, R. E. Graham, J. C. Nichols and S. R.
Zimmerman.
The Minutes of the meeting of March 22, 1950, were read and approved.
• A Committee from Francisquito Ave. was present and asked that the
City install curbs and gutters along F°ra.ncisquito Avenue in front
of their property and allow them to be paid for over a period of
twelve months.
Bids for the improvement of Assessment District No. 1 were re-
ceived and referred to the City Engineer for checking.
• It was moved by DeLay,seconded by Purst and carried, that the
Instrument of the future dedication of road as shorn on Map No,
RS 1701, records of Los Angeles County, State of California, b0
accepted. No part of the dedication is accepted at this time,
Resolution No. 210 - a rs)lution of the City of West Covina accepting
that certain easement deed of J. E. Horner and Viola. M. Horner,
dated the 22nd day of March, 1950, and granting to the City of
• West Covina an easement for future public highway purposes. Said
resolution was offered by Hurst, aeconded by DeLay and unanimously
carried.
Resolution No. 211 - a resolution rescinding the rejection of
certain streets in Tract No. 13723 and accepting the same and
opening for public use. Said resolution Kas offered by DeLay,
seconded by Hurst and unanimously accepted.
• It was -moved by Flotten, seconded by Mossberg and carried, that
the bills be paid as audited:

Street Fund--------_-- 2,790.07
Special Aect. #1------ 1,095.00
Traffic Safety %nd- 4,500a00
R,OGGl Lion No. 212 a- resolution appointing Glenn Kuhn,City
Auditor, to prepare and sign the annual Street Report to be filed
with the State Controller for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1950,
as required by the Collier -Burns Highway Act.

It was moved by Flotten, seconded."by Delay and carried, that
the reports of the Bldg, Wt Dept,, Police and. Treasurer be
accepted and Filed..
