The Minutes of the meeting of February'*,' 1950, were read and approved,
• it was moved by Moosberg9 Seconded by DeLay and-csarri.ed, that the
tentative man of Tract No. 1�72 be at) -eved, srbject to the rec-
ommendations of the Planning Commission.
Upon motion by DeLay, seconded by Mossberg and earrIed, City Engineer
Graham was authorized to prepare the necessary plans for the Improve-
ment of the westerly side of Orange Ave. in accordance with the
noti.tion filed by the Property Ovner.s,
It was moved by Delay, seconded by Moo sberg and carried, that the
'tentative map of Tract No. 16479 be Appz�ved, subject to the
recommendations of the Plann.9.ng Commission.
It was moved by Fletten, seconded by Mossberg and carried., that the
tentative map of Tract Wo. 16467 be 'accented, subject to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission.
• Resolution No. 192 -- a resolution of the City of Feet Covina accent-
ing a grant deed executed by Ell& -Harvey Building Co., a corporation,
giving and granting to the alty of .west Covina that certain lot
situated in the City Of 'Kest Covina and more rarticula.rly described
in said grant deed,
Resolution No. 193 - a, resolution of the City of West Covina, accept.
Ing that certain easement deed of A. Rester Holcomb and Cls.ra. A.
Holcomb and Marry Garlick and Mabel C o Garlick, dated the 14th clay
of February, 1950, and granting to the City of West Cevfnga an ease-
ment fOr future road nurposee and more nar°ticularly -descr ibed In
said deed.
It was moved by Hurst, seconded by Flotten and carried, authorizing
the City Engineer to proceed with the necessary arrangements to
Improve Francisquito Ave, in the vicinity of va.linda. Avao
It was moved by DeLay, seconded by Mossberg and carried, authorizing
the City Engineer to proceed with the removal of the �7set Bridge
and to have the dirt removed and brought to Channing Street,
Ordinance No. 197 - An ordinance of the City of West Covina approving
the annexation to, incorporating to and making a Tart of said City
of West Covina certain uninhabited territory outside Of said City
e
and contiguous thereto, known as West Covina Annexation No. 101,
title of which was read and on motion by Flatten, seconded by Do -
Lay and unanimously carried, further reading was wa.ivedA
The Council ordered they City Cleric to post notice of the forth-
coming election to be held on ftril- 11, 1950; said notice to be
Dusted not later than March 10 1950.
Ordinance No, 199 - An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 147 by
adding thereto a. now section to be DOrMitted, in the R-3 Zone, title
of which was read and. upon motion by Delay, seconded by Mossberg
and unanimously carried, further reading was waived.
Ordinance No. 189 - An ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance
No, 147, by amending the Zoning Map, title of which was read and
on motion by Mossberg, seconded by Flatten and unanimously carried,
• further reading .was waived.
Ordinance No. 190 - An ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance
No, 147, by amending the Zoning Map, title of which was read and
on motion by Mossberg, seconded by Flotten and unanimously carried,
further reading was waived.
Ordinance No. 191 - An ordins ice amending Na; . 31 and providing for
the minimum frontRge in the "A" Zane, title of which was read and
on motion by Hurst, seconded by DeLay and unanimously carried,
further reading was waived.
It was moved by Moseberg, seconded by Flatten and ,carried, authorizing
Mayor Van Horn to sign the agreement between the City of West Covina
and Arthur M. Daniels Droviding for curbs and gutters on his metes
and bounds subdivision.
