Nichols, Mrs. Sayers, R. E. Graham and S. R. Zimmerman. The Minutes of the meeting of November 23, 1949, were read and approved. Mr. Paul of the Los Angeles County Fire Warden's Office was present and reviewed the requirements and needs of a County Fire Protection • District within the City of West Cnvina. Resolution No. 196 - It is hereby resolved: to That the City Council intends to annex to the City of West Covina -the following de.seribed. portion of the County of Los Anvele s, State of California, to -wit: Lot 10 exeevt the northwesterly 41 feet thereof, and • Lots li and 12, except the northwesterly 20 feet of each of said lots, all in Tract No. 13721 as Der Mau recorded In Book 273, Pages 49, A9, and 50 of Mans; 2. That such area shall be known as 'vest Covina Annexation No.. 101; 3. That on the � ith day of January, 1950, at the hour of • 8 :00 P.M. at the City Hall of the City of west Covina, the City Council hear-oersons desiring to object to said annexation; 4. The City Cleft is instructed to nost a cony of this resolu- tion as Notice of said Hearing within five (5) days in three (3) eon.snicuous places in the said territory. • The above resolution was offered by Flotten, seconded by Delay, and was unanimously adopted. Daniels, being; a Portion of Lot R0, Tract No. 930, Book 17, Pages 39 and 39 of Maos of the Los Angeles County Recorder,. is hereby approved under the following conditions: 1. That the subdivider enter into an agreement with the City 13 West Covina on or before the llth day of JanuaVY, 1950, ovi.ding that the subdivider install curbs and gutters and e necessary naving, and in lieu of such installation that deposit ,with the City the sum of 8250.00 Der lot as sold; 2. That the northerly 10 feet of Lot 50, Tract 930, be deeded for future street Durooses; 3. That subdivider convey the interest which he holds in a one root stria across the northerly end of the North South future street to the City of West Covina; 4. That a futurA street easement deed be granted to the City of West Corrina for the North -South future street. Ordinance No. 194, an ordinance relating to the Division and Resubdivision of Land within the City of `Test Covina, title of which was read and on motion by DeLay, seconded by Flotten and unanimously carried, further reading was waived. • Ordinance No. 192 entitled "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No, 31 entitled °n Ordinance providing; for the creation in the City of West Covina of zones ®onsisting of various districts and ore scribing the classes of buildings, structures and improvements in the said several zones and uses thereof' by adding thereto a new section to be numbered Sectinn 2.71, title of .which was read and on motion by Delay, seconded by Flotten and unanimously carried, further reading was waived.
