The minutes of the Meeting of March.o, 1949, were read
and approved.
•UDon motion by DeLay, seconded. by Mossbe-g and garried, the
County Sanitation Dsitricts of Los Angeles County wns granted

Puente Street to Connect with the YetroDolitan Water District
Waste Water line st Lark Ellen ive.
Resolution f 166, n resolution changing the name of L,_tson
Street to Thackery Ave, and the name of Covina Avenue to
Valinda Avenue was offerer by DeLay, seconded by Flottpri
and was unanimously carried
Ordinance # 169z- An Ordinnnee amending Ordinance No. 103 of
the City of West Covina regulating' traffic at intersections
had its first reading.
Resolution $ 19 of the Planning Commission was acnevted.and
on motion by DeLay, seconded by Yossb�!rg and carried the
City Attorney was directee to draw an Ordinance embodying
the DPovisione therein and the City E.,i,Snepr was directed
to draw the neceer-dry nabs. -
Upon motion by Yosabe"g, seconded by DeLr,y and carried, the
Traffic Authority was authorized to spent' un to �250,00
in repairing the City Ulff t - sign at the %'Qsterly City
Limit,
Upon motion by DeLay, seconded. by.Mossbpr� Tod carried the
T-• Treasurer's report was accepte(I and ordered riled.
Resolution # 167- A -resolution calling a FVEtiali election
to be held in the territory hereinafter described and
known as "Westerly Addition Y 211, and submit `.ing to the
qualified electors residing in the said terricory, the ques-
tion of annexing the said territory to the CitNr of ,West
Covina,
Mayor Van Horn appointed Floyd Gelvin as a member of the
Planning Commission and his appointment tins unanimously
approved by the Council.

Flotten shall Pe rve in the eanacity as ex-officio member
of the Planning Commission in the place and stead of G.J.
Hurst Jr,'
Unon motion by Flotten, seconded by Mos.--berg and carried,
Councilman Van Horn was avnointed Mayor.
