A petition from the Fronerty owners on Meeker Ave. between _ Garvey and Merced was presented to the Council asking that the City put in curbs and pave Meeker Ave. The Council received a letter from the City beautiful association asking that the Council meet with them to discuss removing dead trees from the oarkways and the planting of some suitable trees to replace them. Yayor Van Horn aoDointed Councilman Hurst to meet with them. Resolution Y163, A resolution calling a mectal election to be held in the territory hereinafter described and known as "WrGTFRLY ADDTTTON Y2" and submitting to the aualtfied electors residing in the said territory the question of Annexing the said territory to the City of West Covina. The foregoing resolution was offered by MossberF, seconded by Hurst and unammously adopted.
