Present: Batchelder, Daniels, Hurst, Schabarum, Van Horn
Absent: None.
,Minutes of the regular meeting of November 26th. were read and declared
approved as read;
Announcement was made that an effer of $650.00 had been made.for motorcycle
• Danielsmoved that the offer be accepted.
Hurst seconded -and motion passed.
Application received from Truman Johanson to erect a tract sign at
Lark Ellen and Garvey. Schabarum moved to approve application '6 Q 7c,A Poe4el

Camille Gamier of the San Jose Hills Water Company was pvesent to
discuss contract to furnish water to City for fireproteetion purposes
The matter of the length of time that contract was to be drawn for and
the -method of arriving at the proper rate was the main discussion.
No action taken.
Report was'received from the Committee on the establishment of fire
construction aDnes in West -Covina was given.
Letter was read_ from -City -Auditor Kuhn recommending the setting up of
a Fire Protection Fund was read. Schabarum moved that fund be set up
in_Covina National_Baak.'Van Horn seconded and motion was passed.
Concerting. adoption of Master Plan and zoning_. of the City was �t,pq��rciEv
d given its first reading,
Letter from Jay Pitzer was received anneerning business area zoning.
Van Horn made a motion that this letter be placed on file. Daniels
seconded ,motion passed..
. Daniels moved that the -salary --of Jerry Nichols be increased to300.00.
Motion seconded by Schabarum: Motion carried., r
