.Minutes of the March 5th meeting were read and declared approved
as amended.
The matter of the .offer by Truman -Johnson:
to give to the -City
38 .shares of La Puente Water -Stock

discussed.
Councilman Schabarum made the
motion that
the City Attorney be
instructed to write a letter
to Mr Johnson thanking him for
the offer..but ,declining same.
Motion seconded
by Van Horn and
carried.
The application of Truman Johnson for a
varience to erect a
a grocery store building and filling stationwas
discussed. -No
action could be' taken on this
application because final plans
showing a profile of the filling, station satisgactory parking
lot arrangement had^6en submitted.,
