Meeting Called to Order at 8:15 P.M.
Acting Mayor Daniels
Mr. Jay Pitzer:
® After last meeting worked on owners in block between Lark
Ellen and Glendora and they thought that due to Walnut groves
that it would probably better to extend the proposed City
Business.Center by taking a strip along the Highway with adequate
widening from Lark Ellen to Sunset. They have plans but were not
presented.
City should be started on highway.
We still have owners of 111 acre block between highway and wash
and Glendora and Lark Ellen agreeable .to a town site in this
block.
Anderson:
Business will only develop on main Highway. I would put'
Civic Center on Lark Ellen near the highway due,ta the Central
location for City Fire Dept., i'oli-e' etc. I dontt thinkthe
City should be given any land.
Pitzer:
I do not feel the City should be given land but due to
the predicament the City is in I believe it would be good.
Hurst:
® Owners of this property will benefit in such a large amount
of money that they could afford to give some land.
Pitzer:
The difficulty in getting so many owners of land together
is a problem. Business should not be striped along entire highway.
