Meeting was ,called to order at g P.M.
All members of the Council :were ,present
W.P.Yeager and Anna M Yeager were present to ask.fox a permit
to .erect .and 'operate a real estate office on Lot '4 of Tract
14330 .(Sobufh ` "st-.-C.orner •of_._Helt ,and •Garvejf.. r_
Moti on was made by C®ur oilman Daniels that permit be Eiveri' `
_ and a temporary 6 months license also issued to erect and
operate a real estate office on -said lot with the understanding
that the building erected for the office was not to be used as
a residence until such time as it was made to comply with city
building restrictions.. This motion was s.esended by Hurst and
gassed by unanimous vote.
A tentative nap and deed restrietione_we.r_e offered by V.A.
Williamson and H.M.Gilmore on a proposed subdivision of all
lots on Tract. 13;964.
Daniels made the motion -.that the tentative nap be accepted and
that the deed restrictions also be.aceepted subject to the
subdividers deeding in fee simple®a one foot strip of land
running the length of the subdivision .along the northerly side
of .Wwrlman Ave,.to the City of West Covina#And also with the
understanding that the subdivider negetiatJft with the State
on the sale of an additional 48 foot right of Way along the North
side of Garvey Blvd and also.npon the subdivider agreeing to
arrange the lots so as to face on the North and South Street
instead of on Garvey.and that the lots are arranged to meet the
minimum requirements of lot area and also upon the Councils
final approval of the restrictions.
This motion was, seconded by NT.an Horn and .passed .unanimously.
T.H..Lane offered tentative nap and restrictions on a propoaed
' subdivision on Tract 12b95 N.W.Corner Lark,Ellen and Vine.
Daniels moved to.approTd map and restrictions with the following
provision;thatif,the pipe line.along the east side of subdivision
is abandined that a one feet str*p of land on this side be
deeded to City in.fee simple and if not abandoned this deed
is to be for a twe feet in maximum* ,Also that East and West street
is.to be made.60 feet wide.
This wao seconded , by Hurst and passed by unanimous vote.
The Ralph Vanderhoof subdivision was then brought before the Council. i
The location is .on Tract 122.92 at N. E. Corner of Citrsu. and Cortez. C
elt was moved by -Van Horn and'seconded by Daniels that the tentative
'map be aeaepted.-with the understanding that: the subdivider would
agree to the extension of the east line of lot # 11 to the flood
central and dedicate drainage easement along this line
Also that the subdivider would increase the. street entering the
property on east. to a width of 60' feet®
This notion carried by unanimous vote.
A petition was reeeited by the Council for annexation to the City
elf Lot # 288 of. the E.J.Baldwin 5th Subdivision. It was moved by
councilman Van Horn that the City Clerk be instructed to post the
notice of the hearing of the petition in three public places in
West Covina. The hearing to take place at. g P.M on April 24th at
City Hall in `rest Covina. The ffimtion was seconded by Daniels and
passed unanimously.The motion was established as Resolution ;# R:
