A committee was then a-ppointed bythe Mayor consisting of Truman
Johnson, J. C.-NiGhols Joe --Hurst and himself.
A petition was received from Louise Large for a variance to start
a nursery ctt 2034 Glendora Ave.It was moved by Daniels that the
be. denied and, e:econded by Hurst - Dendial pao2ed by
unaninious vote.
11rs Evans ticked for a var,ence. to build and o-perate ala ice craorl
and soda fountain on her property LA 263 lest Garvey Blvd Lot 38
Tract 11798. It was moved by Vah Horn that the varience be granted
and seconded by 1[1'as,,sberg. Thio variance is called Ordinance # 11.4b
and the votes stood as follows. Aye's;- Batohelder, Daniels, Hurst,
Mos2berg,Van Horia. Noes- None Abuent -None '
Motion was made by Hurst th�Lt filing fees on subdivisions and
business varience applications would be due and payable at the
time the tentative-mapg;.and plains are filed with the City.
Motion was seconded by Daniels and passed by unaniii:aoue vote.
Ordinance # ILV granting yarience to Arehie Gegner to erect a
grocery 6,tore and motel on 4i2s property located or, the West 165
feet of Lot 74 North of water wav known as Talnut Creek. Thin
variance was to contain the provision that set back lines on the
sides were not to be leas than 5 feet. Moved to grant under these
conditions was moved by Daniels and 'seconded by Van Horn:. Vote
stood Ayes- Batchelder,D-aniels,Hurst,l4zoeeberg,Van Horn. 'Noes -none
