1945 .
Meeting was called to order
at 8 P.M.
All members of the Council
were present but Bert C Van Horn
who'was out of town.
Outsiders 'present-,were-Yir-Anderson,l�r Harbert and Mr Hall
.Mr Anderson inquired about
police service at his filling station.
-and Mr Hall asked about a zoning varience fear an. auto court on
his
prpperty on Garvey -He
was told to preserit- his - "petition 'later.
Minutes of the meeting held

and as no objections were offered
they stood approved as read.

Attorney Smith offered
Resolution number 73 which granted

to Camille Garnier
to lay water lines on Merced
Vine
and Lark Ellen. No action
was taken at this time for no

The receipt of a check from R.T.Ga.rdine ,as a fryachisenpayment of
2.% on 1943 beebipts of the Sunkist Water Company was discussed and
it was decided that inasmuch as no franchise had been granted to this
Company by the City Council of West Covina the City Attorney should
write him a letter stating that we would deposit and hold the money
pendingce'&iec7xpt of application for a franchise fro this Company and
action by the City Council on same. In event application is denied
at thin time the money will be refunded to him. "`
Percy Jackson the Building Commisioner came in late and a geleral
discussion with hi'm,rtook place on the ds_euance of permits by him.
