The meeting was called. to order by Mayor Robinson and upon roll call
by the Clerk the follo.wirIg :Cou:ncil°men were present: Robinson,
Batchelder, Daniels-1 Kendall and,Mossberg,
The minutes of . the meeting :of December 8, 1,943, were read and
approved.
The following Male -were read by the,.Clerk and upon motion.by .
Councilman Mossberg, seconded by C.ouncilman-Daniels, were allowed
and ordered paid.

it was. moved by Councilman Daniels, -seconded by Councilman
Batchelder, dulyputand c-arried, authorizing,the Mayor and
City Clerk to sign a new contract with the Electrical Products
Corporation for the care and maintainance. of the City Limit
signs.
The, -Clerk read, a latter from the Covina Highlands Development
Company, asking for a permit to install a pipe -.line `al-ong.
Citrus Avenue from the Wash south to the City Limits, and
Councilman Mossberg moved that said permit be granted, but
said motion was lost for lack of a second.
Upon motion by Councilman Batchelder, seconded by Councilman
Mossberg, duly put and carried, the offer of Pacific Rock and
gravel Company dated January 7,•1944, was accepted; said
prices as set forth in offer good until June 30, 1944, and
the Mayor was authorized to sign same.
It was moved by -Councilman Daniels, seconded by Councilman Batch-
elder, duly -put and carried that City Clerk advertise for bids
on the 1942-Buick Special, and sell same to highest bidder.
It was moved by -Councilman Kendall, seconded by Councilman
Mossberg, duly put and carried, that Mr. Meeker be paid $85.00
for the desk; chair and rugs that were left in"the office when
we occupied same in August 1942.
Upon motion by Councilman Daniels, seconded by CouncilmanMossberg,
duly put and carried, Mayor Robinson was authorized -to sell the
Street Sweeper.
There being no further busines to come before the Council the
meeting was duly adjourned.
