elAnning Commission o-' the City of Eos Angeles to assist us in
zoning the City of West Covina. OV

Upon motion �y Councilman Herring, second-d by Councilman Batch-
elder, duly put and carried, Chief of Police Bain was inst-
ructed to buy tires for the Police Car:
It tales moved by Councilina.n Ba.tchalder, seconded by Councilmen
.Mo0sbe,rg, duly put a.nd, c-arried, that Mrs. Hurley be given
a ra.ise of $10.00 per month in celary.
Mr. Streshley and others ir!ere at this meeting complaining that
nothing had been done towp.rd eliminating the nuisance of ,the
dogs at Mrs. Hawxins' Kennelly, and after some discussion
it was moved by Councilmen Herring, seconded by Councilman
Batchelder, July put and carried-, that chief of Police Bain
meet with thcs- people and work out _ome x,-pans of presenting
this case to the District Attorney's s.ffice. •
