The City Council of -theCity of West Covina met, December 9, 1942, at
361 W. State Highway. All present except Councilman Kendall.
The minutes of the meeting. -of November 11, 1942;-were read and approved
as read.
The following bills were read by the Clerk and upon motion by Councilmen
Herring, seconded by Councilman Mossberg, duly put and carried. were
allowed and ordered paid.

The Clerk read a letter from Mrs. Gara.bra.ndt 1170 West Wowland
asking that the eucaylptus trees in the middle of Rowland
Avenue .be examined end if necessary removed.
Ordinance No. 97, entitled an.'ordinance of the City of West Covina,in
the Coun-ty of Los Angeles, State of CR11forr_ia , relating to
lighting as restricted by public proclamation of the Commanding
General of the Western Command,. Came up for its second. reading.
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly a.d'j'ourned.
