The newly elected councilof the City of West Covina, met April 21,1942,
for the purpose of organization. The following councilmen being
present: C.P. Kendall, C.I. Batchelder, D.H. Robinson, Carl H.
Mossberg and Walter S. Herring.
Upon motion by Councilman Batchelder, seconded by Councilman Herring,
duly put and carried, Councilman Robinson was elected 'viayor to
serve for a term of two years.
Mayor Robinson thereupon appointed the following to act upon the
various committees:
Councilmen Mossberg and Batchelder to act on the auditing committee.
Councilmen Kendall and Batchelder to act on the Street committee.
Councilman Herring to act as the Police Commissioner.
There being no further business to come before the Council the meeting
was duly adjourned.
