The City Council of the City of West Covina met April 21, 1942, at
1808 West State Highway. Those present were: J.K. Hedges, L. Reeg,
D.H. Robinson, C.P. Kendsll and C.I. Batchelder.
This was a special meeting called
for the purpose of canvassing the
.
votes cast at the municipal election
held. April 14, 1942.
Upon motion by Councilman Kendall,
seconded by Councilman Reeg, and
carried the Council proceeded to
canvass the votes cast at said
municipal election, and. finds as
follows:
That at said. election the total number
of votes cast was 300:
That the following candidates for
the council received the following

Robert L. Woodward.

Mayor Robinson then declared that
Carl H. Mossberg and Walter S.
Herring be declared elected to
the City Council for a, term of

four years.
It was moved by Councilman Batchelder, seconded by Councilman Kendall,
and carried that a, vote of appreciation be extended to the two
retiring councilmen, Mr. Reeg and. Mr. Hedges, for their good work
in the past years on behalf of the City of West Covina.
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly adjourned.
