March 11, 1942
The'City Council of the City of West Covina; met March 11, 1942, at
1808 West State Highway. Those present were: L. Reeg, J.K. Hedges,
C.Z. Batchelder, D.H. Robinsom and C.P. Kendall. Absent; None
The minutes of the Meeting of February 11, and February 25, 1942,
were read and approved.
The following bills were read by the'Clerk and upon motion by
Councilman, Hedges, seconded by Councilman Batchelder, duly put
,and carried, were allowed and ordered paid..

Mr. Carter presented final maps of Tracts No. 13111 and
for final acceptance, and it was moved by Councilman Kendall,
seconded by Councilman Reeg, duly put and carried that the City
accept said maps; and the City Engineer was authorized to sign
sign'the same, a.nd th9 City Clerk was authorized to certify to
the aceepta.nce of said map and sign the same and place the seal
of the City thereon.
The City Attorney reported that he had written Mrs. Hawkins about the
removal of her dogs.
Upon,"motion by Councilman Kendall, seconded by Councilman Reeg, duly
put and carried, chief of Police Fritsch was authorized to have
to have the City of West Covina connected by direct wire with
with Pomona for air raid protection.
The reports of the..Treasurer and Chief of Police were read and*
accepted and ordered placed on file.
It was moved by Councilman Hedges, seconded by Councilman ':�atchelder,
duly put and carried, that the question of Civil Service for the
City of West Covina, not be acted on.at this time.
There being no further business to come before the Council the meet-
ing was duly adjourned.
