The City Council.of.the City of West Covina met, February 11, 1942, at
1809 W. State Highway. Those present were: C.I. Batchelder, L. Reeg,
J.K,..Hedges, D.H. Robinson .and C..P.,Kendall. Absent: None
The ,minu.te,s .o.f the meeting of January 14, .1942 were read and
approved as read.
The following bills were presented by-:the-Clerkand on motion by
Councilman Hedges, seconded by.CouncAl:man Kendall, duly put -and
carried were allowed and ordered paid..

Upon motion byCouncilman Reeg,•seconded by Councilman,Hedges,.duly
put and carried, a tentative map of Tract No. 13111, accepted at
the meeting of, December `10, 19411 ,presented :by Mr... A..P. Garter,
be withdrawn and a new map substituted in its•steade
There was --a delegation=of .citi'zens from the Meeker tract present -at
this meeting .protesting the. -building and location oT •,a •dog kennell
In their neighborhood. It w'as moved by Councilman Kendall, seconded
by Councilman Batchelder and carried -that this matter be taken
under advisement. - --
Upon motion by Councilman Hed es, seconded. by Councilma.n.Batchelder,

duly put and earied, Mr. 5acksonrwas to purchase .;Arm Bands"-
for the Air Raid'Wdrdens at City xpense. •
It was moved by Courici;lman Batchelder, seconded by Councilman Kendall,
duly put and ca.rftod, that Oscar Jessee not be allowed. a years
leave of absence.
Upon motion by Councilman Kendall, seconded by Councilma-n'Batchelder,
duly put and carried, the reports of the City Treasurer and the
chief of Police lie accepted and placed on file..
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly..adjourned.
