The City Council of the City of Best Covina., met January 14, 1042, at
1909, W. State Highway. Those present were: L.ReeE;, D.H. Robinson,
C.I. Batchelder, C.P. Kenc'all and. J.K. Hedges.
The minutes of the meetings of December 10, 17, and 26, 'VT ere read and
and ap,proved..
The following bills were presented by the Clerk and upon motion by Council-
man. Hedges, seconded by Councilman Batchel,?_er, duly put and carried,were rlloured and ordered. paid.

Upon ifotion by Councilmen Batchelder, seconded by Councilmen Kendall,
duly put and carried, the clerk was instructed. to write 'fir. Wayne
allen, County Purchasing Agent, and give him e. list of All the
road equipment oimed by the City of Vest Covina..
It was moved by Ccuncilman Kendall, seconded by Councilman HeO.ges, duly
put,and caarried, that the Treasurer's report be accepted and placed
on file.
Mayor. Robinson named. Councilmen Batchelder and Kendall as a committee
to work with Mr. Jackson to inve8tigate "Air Raic Sirens" with
the idea of purchasing one foe the City of West Covina.
