Mr. Leo Meeker presented tentative maps of Tracts Nos. 13103. and 1 j102
for approval by the City Council, and un_on motion by Councilman
Hedges, seconded by Councilman Reeg and. carried., said. maps were
_ accepted and ordered. placed on file.
Mr. Mossberg was present at this meeting a.nd. asked that the City of
West Covina resurface Mossberg Avenue, and. upon motion by Couneil-
ma.n Batchelder, seconded by Councilman Kendall, and. carried, Mr.
Mossberg was informed. that this work would be done.

Upon motion by Councilman KenOlall, seconded by Councilman Reeg, and
ca.rried., Joe Fritsch was aonointed. to represent West Covina at
the Vos.:Angeles -County .Defense Council. _
It wa.8"moved' by Councilman- Reeg, 'second.ed by Counc'ilmari Hedges;`•a.nd
carried that the Olt Council Punrove that certain agreement
dated October 10,- 194, between the County :Surveyor of Los -Ahgele=s
County and the City Engineer of West Covina, authorizirig�the County
Surveyor to perform all the duties of the City Engineer upon mutual
agreement between the ,County Surveyor and,* the City Engineer',' -and
also the 'County 'purveyor, a'nd -the City. Engine-er `shall -make- -such'
detailed examination of final subdivision maps and record .o'f' -survey
maps etc, and make a. charge therefor._

It was moved by Councilman Hedges, seconded by Councilman K'Pnd."g1l,. and
carried., that the r.enor'ts of Police chief, City Treasurer and"
Building Inspector "tie accepted and placed. on file. =
It was moved by Councilm_e-n Hedges, seconded by CQV 41ma.n -Reeg, krid
carried that Percy R, JA�ckson be appointed wa. chman et 'a: -.salary
of $60.00 per montli,, •effective as of October 1�4, 19�41..
Ordinance No. 92, entitled,an ordinance amending Ordinance No.~31i;
gntitled "An ordinance providing for the 'd-rea.tAbn -in the City of
West Covina, of zone_s,-consisting of various districts and pr'es
cribing the classes of buildings, structures'"a„d. Ymprovements
in 'the saidseveral ' ione�s and. the uses. thereof", by bdding: ther'eto
a, new section to be numbered. Section 12, came up for its `-fina.l•
