The. City Council of the City of -.West Covina, met 'May 14, 1941, 'at'
1843 West -.State H`ighwal. Those Present Were L.Reeg, C.P..: Kendall,
D.H. Robinson and C.I. Batchelder. Absent: J. Hedges.
The minutes of ;the- meeting- of, -April % 1941, were read and. approved.
The following b�lls were.presented.by the Clerk and upon motion by
Councilman atchelder, seconded by Councilman Reeg, duly put and
carried,' were allowed -and .ordered .paid.

The clerk read a letter from Robert Watson asking for permission for
a garbage route in the City of West Covina, and upon motion by
Councilman Batchelder, duly seconded and carried, said permit was
denied. It was the opinion of the Council that there was not
enough business for two and that Mr. L.F. Griffith should be
permitted to continue with his route.

Mr. Leo'Meeker was present and presented a tentative map of Tract No.
12907 in' the, City. of West .Covi na -for approval by _the" City Council.
t The..map Yeas. placed on- file and a copy: was, re.ceipted for by the .
Clerk. .
Mr. Meeker stated that he.wished to complete: the. .roads in -Meeker tract,
and uponmdili�nput seconded and carried Percy Jackson was to be
employed to supervise' the construction of -said roads.
The Clerk presented a contract between the City..of West.Covina and:the
Electrical Products Corporation, a contract for the maintenance of
of the West Covina City Limit sigss; and -upon motion by Councilman
Kendall, seconded by Councilman Reeg, duly put and'oarried, said
contract was .renewed for a period of 36 months. The mayor being
authorized to: -sign same.
There being no further business to come before the Council cthe meeting
was adjourned:
