October 16, 1940
The Citv Council of the City of West Covina. met October 10, 1940, at
1843 guest State Highway. Those present were: L. Reeg, C.P. Kendall,
P.H._ Robinson and Clyde -Batchelder. Absent. Hedges.
Mr. Cassett D. 'Griffin from. tb.e County Planning Commission was present
and a discussion of d plan.. to employ the facilities of the County
of Los Angeles to act as Building Inspector for West Covina follow—
ed.
As to the length of time it would take to into effect the following
is to be done.
1. City to prepare ordinance abd post.
2. Draw Contract
Authorize the Clerk to sign agreement
• County willing to act as soon as permits and forms are printed
and agreement OK'ed.
It was moved by.Councilman Kendall, seconded by Councilman Batchelder,
duly put and carried, that the passing of -the agreement be post—
poned untill all°-member's`bf the Council are present, or can be
consulted.
