A special meeting of the Council of the City of 'Nest Covina, was held
May 15, 1940. Those present were: D.H. Robinson, C.P. Kendall
L. r2eeg and Clyde �-atchelder. Absent: J.K. Hedges.
A delegation from Baldwin Park County Water District, consisting of
T.T. Thompson and others were ?resent.
The purpose of -the meeting being that the City Council is requested
to modify the permit granted said Water District by the City
Council on May �, 1940, so that there would 'fie no requirement by the
City Council that said eater District install at least 2 fire
hydrants at the best locations of said district, as reo_uired
in said -oermit..
It was moved by Councilman Kendall, seconded by Councilman Batchelder
duly put and carried, that the requirement in said per±nit grp-nted
May 8, 1940, that "At least 2 fire hydrants be installed in
said i district by the Baldwin Park County Water District"
be deleted from said permit.
