March 13, 1940.
The City Council of the City of West Covina., met March 13, 1940, at
1843 West State Highway. Those present were: L.Reeg, C.H.Coffman,
F.L. Mowder and D.H. Robinson. Absent: J.K.. Hedges.
The minutes .of the meeting of February 28, 1940, were read end
approved. '
The following bills were read by. the Clerk and on motion by Council-
man Robinson, seconded by Councilman Coffman, and carried, were
allowed and ordered paid.

Upon motion by Councilman Coffman, seconded by Councilman Reeg, duly
put and carried the City of Azusa was granted to add "CHRYSTAL
LAKE PARK" to th(iir neon sign at the corner of Azusa. Avenue and
State Highway.
Upon motion by Councilman Coffman, seconded by Councilman , the
Mayor and Clerk were authorized to sign agreement with the State
Highway department, prohibiting any building or structures
Within 55-feet of present Otate right of way from Orange
Avenue Oast along the North side of Highway and on the South.
side of Hi<;hway from Orange Avenue West.
Resolution No. 52, entitled a resolution asking the County'Board
of Supervisors of Los Angeles County to grant aid in retiring
Acquisition and Improvement -Bonds in District No. 59
Resolution No. 53, entitled a resolution requesting the County
Road Commissioner's office to make Survey, plans and Sgecifi
cations of culvert on Virminia Road. and `iQalnut.'Nash in West
Covina. W
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly adjourned.
