The City Council of the City of West ,Covina met April 122 1939, at
1943. West, State Highway. Those Present were: L. Reeg, D.H. Robinson
and F.L. Mowder. Absent: J.K. Hedges and C.H. Coffman.
The minutes of the meeting of March 29, 1939, were read and approved.
The following bills were presented by the Clerk and on motion by
Councilman Robinson, seconded by Councilman Reeg, duly put and
carried, were allowed and ordered paid.

Mr. Harry J. McClean attorney for Leo Meeker filed a tentative
map of Tract no. 11798, in the City of West Covina for approval by
the City Council. The map was placed on file.
A letter from Mrs. Lena M. Mosher withdrawing the tentative map Or
filed with the City Council for her subdivision was filed with
the City Clerk and contents noted.

On report of Councilman Reeg that Compana Flores Drive has been
improved in accordance with the required specifications, and on
motion by Councilman Robinson, seconded by Councilman-Reeg, the
City ,Cle.rk was, instructed to release .to Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Brown
the 1,5 shares ,of, the Blue Ridge ,Corporation held by the City of
West Covina for faithful performance.
Ordinance No. 75 entitled an ordinance requiring the construction
of streets, sidewalks, curbs and gutters -in subdivisions.before
before acceptance of same by the City Council, came up for its.
second reading. , .
Resolution No. 42, entitled a resolution authorizing the. -County
of Los Angeles to make a housing survey in the City of West
Covina, was offered by Councilman Reeg, seconded by Councilman
Robinson and unanimously adopted.
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly adjourned.

494 of the book of record of said Council.
