The City Council of the City of West Covina, met December 14, 1938, at
1843 West Statehigway. Those present Were: L. Reeg, D.H. Robinson,
and C.H. Coffman. Absent F.L. Mowder and J.K. Hedges.
Due to -the absence of vla.yor 'vlowder Councilman Coffman acted as
chairman'of the meeting.

A motion was offered by Councilman Reeg, seconded by Councilman
Robinson, duly out and carried, that the City of Nest Covina
hereby aut7id
ize any owner of land within the City Limits of
West Covino permit his real estate Broker to place for. sale
signs on s ownersland, said signs not to exceed 3 X 4 ft.

in size. No Broker to place more than one sign on any one tract of
land adjoining any one street.
A motion was offered by Councilman Robinson,,seconded by Councilman
Reeg, duly put and -carried, that the City of Kest Qovina'employ
Percy R. Jackson as Project Superintendent on the PWA project.No.
2034-F in the City of West Covina at a salary of $200.00 per
Month, said Salary to start as of November 28, 1938, and to employ
Leo Dontanville as plant Inspector of said P1,7A Project No. 2034-F
'at a salary of 190.00 per Month and .04 per mile, mileage effective
as of November 28, 1929.
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly adjourned.
