The City Council of the City of West Covina, met November 16, 1938, at
1847 West State Highway. Those present were: F.L. Mowder, L. Reeg,
C.H. Coffman, D.H. Robinson and J.K. Hedges.
It was moved by Councilman Reeg, seconded by Councilman Hedges, duly
put and carried, that the City of West Covina accept a.stock
certificate for 15 shares of the convertible preferred st6ck
of the Blue Ridge Corporation of Delaware as security for the
improving of Campana Flores Drive(Tract 11310) in the City of
West Covina in lieu of an agreement and bond filed by W.D. Brown
and Juanita Brown with the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles
County, and that said Browns be released from said bond, and
further, that the City Clerk advise the Board of Supervisors that
said bond has been released and cancelled.p
Upon motion by Councilman Reeg, seconded by Councilman Robinson,
duly put and carried, it was voted to amend Ordinance No. 37
by adding the words "PUBLIC OR" before the word private in the
fourth line under section one of said ordinance.
Resolution No. 39, entitled a resolution intering into a memorandum
agreement for the expenditure of the 4 cent gasoline tax upon
the streets of major importance other.than State highways, was
offered by Councilman Hedges, seconded by Councilman Robinson
and was unanimously adopted.
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly adjourned.

482 of the book of record of said Council.
