The City Council of the City

of West Covina, met October 26, 1938, at
Those present were: C.H. Coffman, L. Reeg,
and D.H. Robinson. Absent: None
- Resolution No. 35, entitled a resolution advertising for bids for
the resurfacing of certain streets and highways in the Gity of
West Covina in accordance with that certain PWA document No.
California 2034 F, hereinbefore entered into by the City Council
of the City of West 'Covina with the United States Government
under said document number, Was offered by Councilman Robinson
_ and was unanimously adopted.
Upon motion by Councilman Hedges, seconded by Councilman Coffman,
duly put and carried, it was voted to pay Mrs. Leonard Reeg for
3470 miles @ .05 per mile for the use of her automobile for City
use for the past year, and the 'future rental for said automobile
shall be paid monthly at the rate of .05 per mile.
Resolution No. 36, entitled a resolution designating certain streets
in the City of West Covina as streets of major importance and
that the funds of the City of West Covina for street improvement
purposes be first used on same,.was offered by Councilman Reeg,
and was unanimously adopted.
At the October 12th meeting Mr. Smith was authorized to examine the
Insurance Policy of the Pacific Indemnity Co. sold to the City of
West Covina and see if in his opinion it covered our needs. Mr.
Smith now reports that he t, inks the policy is o.k.
There being no further business to come before the Council the
meeting was duly adjourned.
The foregoing minutes of the meeting of the Council of the City of
West Covina of October 26, 1938, are duly duly recorded on page
479 of the book of record of said Council.
