The City Council of the City of West Covina met June S, 1938, at
the .West Covina Police Court Room 1943 West State Highway. Those
present were: L. Reeg, F.L. Mowder, C.H. Coffman, D.H. Robinson,
and J.K. Hedges. Absent: None.
The minutes of the meetings of May 11, 14, Rnd 25 were read and
approved.
The following bills were read by-the'clerk'and on motion by Coun-
cilman Robinson, seconded by Councilman Reeg, duly put and carried,
were allowed and ordered paid.

Resolution No. 27. entitled a resolution protesting the passage of
the Revenue Bond act of 1937, also known as Senate Bill No. 200,
was offered by Councilman Reeg, seconded bV Councilman Robinson,
and was unanimously adopted.
A motion was offered by Councilman Reeg, seconded by Councilman Robinson
duly put and carried, authorizing the clerk to sign contract with
the 119XXXX9 Edison Co. for lighting Street lights and Neon Signs.
It was moved by Councilman Robinson, seconded by Councilman Reeg,duly
put and carried, authorizing Quinter Bashore to do the necessary
work in connecting the traffic enforcement signs at a price of
$6o.00.
Resolution No. 28. entitled a resolution declaring certain streets in
the City of West Covina -to -be a part -of -the County system of
Highways, and authorizing the County to proceed with the -improve -
went of said street.
Upon motion by Councilman Reeg, seconded by Councilman Robinson, duly
put and carried, the proper officers were authorized to sign new
signature cards at the Covina National Bank.
There being no further business to come before the Council the meeting
was duly adjourned.
