were: F.L. Mowder, P.R. Jackson, L. Reeg and C.H. Coffman.

It was moved by`Councilman Mowder, seconded by Councilman Coffman,
duly put and carried that the verbal application made by Mr.
Mossberg for' D.S. Maynard of 2717 Ramona Blvd. Alhambra for ..a
permit to build an auto court on lot 34, Tract No. 112.3l'be
denied.
Mr. Mowder repor"ted on a conference he had with State Highway
Officials iri're.gard to lighting of the street intersections
in the City of West Covina.
Upon Motion by.Oouncilman Coffman, Seconded by Councilman Mowder,
duly put and carried, it was voted to pay $3.00 per trip for
any. Judge: that we have to call on at any time, and to pay
Grant Chapman'$20.00 for the services he -has already rendered.
It was moved by*Councilman Mowder, seconded by Councilman Reeg,
duly put ana unanimously carried that the the Mayor appoint a
committee of three to work with the Building Inspector in approv-
ing plans and specifications for buildings in the-Vity of `W6st
Covina, and authorizing said committee to issue.building per_.
mits when application conforms to requirements of Uity Building
ordinance. Mayor Jackson appointed Councilmen Mowder, Coffman
and Reeg to'serve on this committee.
Resolution'No., �24:;;.entitled_!a resolution �cail-ing==a municipal ' -election
ao` be held on=April. 12.,-.193�, was offered by Councilman Mowder,
seconded by'Councilman Reeg and was unanimously adopted.
Ordinance Nb-" , : 71 entithed an ordinance-'declarZng Orange' -Streets and
other'- _ tr-eets it the City- of Pest Covina to be a part of the
County System of Highways, came up for its second reading.
There.,.peing no further business to come before the Council .the
meeting wa's• duly adjourned.
