Those present - ,were: C.H. Coffman, F.L. Mowder, J.K. Hedges. P.R.-Jackson and L.-Reeg. --Absent: -None. P3 Resolution No. 23, entitled a resolution declaring Orange Avenue and other streets in the City of West Covina to be a part of the County system of Highways, was offered Councilman Coffman, seconded by Councilman Hedges, and was unanirnously.adopted. 14&)cI Upon motion by Councilman Mowder, seconded by Councilman Hedges, duly put and carried, it'was voted to.pay Ralph Coolman and Jack Dean $20.00 each for their labor in helping take care of City prisoners. It was moved by Councilman Mowder,:seconded by Councilman Hedges, duly and -.carried, that_ the officers be given one weeks .vacation with pay, vacation to be taken when satisf actory;arrangements are made with the chief of police. Ordinance No. 70, entitled an Ordinance amending section 1 of Ordinance No. 68,was put on its final passage and was adopted by the follow- ing votes, to -wit: Ayes: P.R. Jackson,.F.L. Mowder,L.Reeg.J..K.Hedges,C.H. Coffman Noes: None • Absent: None. There being no further business to come before the Council the • meeting was duly adjourned.
